‘I am delighted we have achieved the Butterfly Mark, at the start of another exciting year for Wolf. I am proud to say sustainable practices have always been on my agenda, inspired by the legacy of my grandfather Philipp Wolf III who was an early environmentalist in the 1950s. Positive Luxury has provided another catalyst to further improve and review the way we work as a team around the world, design and make our products using the latest bio based materials and review the sustainability practices of our suppliers.
‘I would highly recommend others to take this assessment, to learn and grow as we have done. Together we can make a difference,’ said CEO Simon Wolf.
‘We are delighted to announce Wolf has been awarded the Butterfly Mark for meeting higher and higher standards for people and nature. It is a five generation family owned company and has stood for innovation and the pursuit of perfect design since 1834. From conducting a formal assessment of packaging design and focusing the business on increasing the use of bio based materials, to strong people management including policies on learning and development focused on internal promotion and career progression, and comprehensive employee and supplier codes of conducts – Wolf is leading the way to a better future with positive actionable change. Positive Luxury is honoured to work with the team and recognise such the historic and innovative brand as real changemakers,’ said Amy Nelson-Bennett, CEO, Positive Luxury.
